The SlabCart is a tool that was developed out of necessity. Originally designed to be used for the artisan concrete industry, we spent the last 7+ years engineering, developing, testing, and redesigning for use in the Slab Stone countertop industry.
Back in 2016, we were operating our sucessful artisan concrete studio in Palm Beach, FL when we got the call to produce a uniqe walk-in concrete luxury bathtub for the hit TV show, “The Vanilla Ice Project”. If you know anything about the show, they love drama and we refused to be the highlight of the epispode with a failed attempt to transport this large, heavy, awkward piece into place. We developed an installation cart specific to this bathtub and the first edition of the Slab Cart was born!
Fast forward several years of Frankenstein-ing the cart system and multiple versions that were sent out for R&D to our artisan concrete collegues. We were able gain valuable feedback and testing that allowed us to design the best adaptable transport cart capable of handling any size and shape slab stone you can throw at it!
